1. Introduction
Tinned steel plate (commonly known as tinplate) is a steel product that can be stamped with a thin steel plate as the matrix, and is coated with tin on its surface and has a multi-layer protective film (layer). It has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, non-toxic, tasteless, surface gloss, light weight, high strength (relative to paper, wood, composite materials), easy to paint, easy to weld and process molding, and strong adaptability to environmental temperature. Therefore, more than 70% of the total output of tinned steel plates is used for food and beverage packaging. TINPALTE
ETP is primarily used for packaging foodstuffs and beverages, but it is also used in containers for oils, grease, paints, polishes, chemicals and many other products. Aerosol containers and caps and closures are also made from ETP.

Our food tinplate can offers a good source of iron for its users. Tinplate canned food, except few light color fruit and canned fruit, mainly adopts interior painted empty cans for improved corrosion resistance of containers. Under the electrochemical action of metal, a small quantity of iron dissolves out of enamel cans and exists as ferrous iron in the sealed canned food, ranging from 1ppm to 10 ppm, which is easy for people to absorb. Provided that there is 5ppm iron in every 350ml tinplate can, then each can of food can provides 1.75mg iron, which is about one tenth of 18mg daily iron intake by human body. In case of rich vitamin C contained in the canned fruit and vegetable juice, iron will be easier for assimilating. That is why this food tinplate can is so widely adopted for packaging food.
