1060 Pure Aluminum Series
The 1060 aluminum plate is part of the pure aluminum series, with a density of 2.71. It is relatively soft and highly ductile, offering excellent forming and processing characteristics. It boasts high corrosion resistance, a long service life, and low cost, but it has low strength and rigidity.
3003 Aluminum-Manganese Alloy Series
The 3003 aluminum sheet belongs to the aluminum-manganese alloy series, with a density of about 2.73. Due to the addition of manganese (1-1.5%), this material has improved hardness and tensile properties compared to the 1000 series. It has excellent anti-rust properties and is commonly referred to as "anti-rust aluminum."
3004 Aluminum-Magnesium-Manganese Alloy Series
The 3004 aluminum plate contains manganese and magnesium (0.8-1.3%), providing higher strength than the 3003 series. Known as "aluminum-magnesium-manganese," it offers excellent formability and good corrosion resistance. It is widely used in colored aluminum products, especially in public buildings like airports, stations, and stadiums.
5052 Aluminum-Magnesium Alloy Series
The 5 series aluminum-magnesium alloy, with a density of 2.68, primarily consists of magnesium (3-5%). Its main features include low density, high tensile strength, and high elongation. Due to its light weight, the 5 series is commonly used in aviation and is known as "aviation aluminum." It offers higher tensile strength and better performance than the 3 series, but at a higher cost, with the 5052 series being a common material.
